Over the last several Saturday's I have been involved with the construction of a new hoop house at Noyo Food Forest's Learning Garden behind the high school. The first Saturday was an official workshop that was attended by a few local entheusists that wanted to learn more about how one goes up here are some pictures.

Off and on over the last few years my attention has been coming back to green houses and hoop houses over and over again. Living here on the Northern California Coast where a heat wave is about 75 degrees fahrenheit, vegetables don't always grow as well as we would like. We do have fairly long spells of pretty constant sunshine in the spring and fall, as well as some sunny weather in the winter. All in all a little assistance could be used year round.
